TNIV Romans 16:1-2 “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been the benefactor of many people, including me.” ~ That our daughter may rise as one who strengthens the church! A shining light!
Names become appealing (and unappealing) by those who bore the name before. An older lady in our previous church was named Rose. She was steadfast in her love for us, her husband, and the church. So we love the name.
Am I ready for two…
Occasionally I am a terrible dad and only by grace does Ivy continue to love me! Early this week, after Jacob had arrived, Ivy shouted that she needed to go potty. I grabbed her and quickly placed her on her foam seat, which was already on the toilet. She soon announced she was finished, but I had not heard anything. “Ivy you need to go potty.” But she insisted she was done. Only then did I notice that her seat, though in the right position, was sitting on the LID! Her potty was now running off the back and onto the floor (thankfully not on Ivy). I cried for Megan, but she just laughed and handed me a towel… Thank God it was not #2…
