“I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a deacon of the church in Cenchreae. I ask you to receive her in the Lord in a way worthy of his people and to give her any help she may need from you, for she had been the benefactor of many people, including me.” Romans 16:1-2
Megan and I join with Paul and ask you to welcome Phoebe Rose. She arrived in the chaos only God could imagine on Friday evening at 5:58 (Just ask any parent, birth is a crazy process and one I could not imagine. Yet, even the second time I am overwhelmed by the event. And I am only a bystander, who holds a hand and just trys to remember to breathe – much less attempting the woo, woo, waa breathing they teach!). She came crying and was cleaned and handed to Megan. She is amazing – as are all of my girls. She weighs 7 pounds 3.5 ounces and is 19.5 inches. I was able to ring the daddy bell at University Hospital, which is a Tim Taylor door bell (if anyone remembers Home Improvement). Which is exactly what I wanted, to ring my joy out for everyone to hear!
I am sure there will be more stories soon, but for now, I thank all of you for your prayers and concerns. We are blessed!
Phoebe, Welcome to the family. Love, Aunt Kathi
