Last Sunday our stage was transformed. The cross was surrounded by a fountain and pools to symbolize the promise of Ezekiel 47, of John 4 — “the water I give you will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” This is the truth of Jesus’s fulFILLment!

During the service, as Bev played, we wrote messages and put them into bottles (you can watch in fast forward below). The bottles represent being lost on a deserted island. An insane hope that our message could ever be found. And this was our situation… until Jesus came down. The sacrifice of the cross reconnected heaven to earth. Our messages now rise with the “water welling up” straight into God’s grace!

To finish the symbolism Jessica is leading an art class on Saturday morning (10am). We will transform these bottles from trash into painted flowers. Just as God hears our cries and raises us into the beautiful life! Resurrection with Jesus.
